On Sunday we went out for breakfast with Stanley.We had our best croissant at a place called Patisserie Valerie.It’s hard to find a decent cafe and the coffees are not as good as NZ but this was one of the better ones.We went to St James Roman Catholic Church to hear some church music.All the hoi polloi were there.Afterwards we had lunch at Galvin’s Bistro Deluxe on Baker’s street. We didn’t see Sherlock Holmes.Mark had offal which he seems to enjoy.We tried pastis for the first time (an aniseed flavoured liquer and aperitif). Because we weren’t feeling religious enough we went to Evensong at St Paul’s Cathedral although we arrived a little late.
