We had been invited to morning tea at Gordon’s, Stanley’s friend from NZ.He has an Irish terrier named Chiko - like an oversized Border Terrier really!. We were served homemade scones with jam and coffee.Afterwards we had a wander through Hyde Park and then down to Buckingham palace. On the way we spotted a Border Terrier and stopped to chat and have a photo. She was only 5 months old and similar in colour to Nina. She had a great temperament as you’d expect of a border. After saying hello to the Queen we continued on to Knightsbridge and to Harrods.Harrods was disappointing. In the evening I went to Piaf – a play about Edith Piaf’s life. The actress who played Edith Piaf was stunning and the production was slick. The play itself was not very engaging probably due to its biographical nature.Overall it was one of the better things I’ve seen so far
