Here we are at Christchurch which was a bit of a nightmare! We had to walk 20 minutes down the road from the terminal to collect the dogs from Air NZ cargo. It was freezing cold, windy and raining. We had a few hours wait between flights during which time we walked the dogs and found shelter outside the Antarctic Centre. We were having our own Antarctic experience out in the cold. We managed to catch up with our friends Henry and Sue before boarding the plane to Nelson.
